CSS layout
Many websites still exist with code no longer recommended by the World Wide Web consortium. New standards include XHTML compliant code and sites built with the format controlled using Cascading Style Sheets (CSS). Dynamic Content
Not all information is best placed directly into a Web page. In many situations a dynamic content solution is beneficial. Dynamic content is stored separate from the display page in databases such as Microsoft SQL Sever or mySQL, or in text formats such as XML or RSS. Information is drawn from these data sources and display based on user and system parameters. Form data submitted by visitors can add to existing data content. Animations
Adobe Flash is a powerful animation tool for websites. Slide shows, scrolling banners, and entire websites complete with navigation controls are all possible with Flash. In situations requiring frequent content updates Flash applications can be programmed to import the content to display from a website address. This allows conent owners to easily maintain their Flash application and keep support costs down.
